Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an energetic and highly motivated Business Development Representative to become an integral part of our expanding team in the broadcast equipment industry. In this crucial role, you'll play a pivotal part in our sales growth strategy. Your mission will be to unearth new business opportunities within the broadcast market, generate leads, and pave the way for prosperous sales deals. Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly study and maintain in-depth knowledge of our broadcast products, such as broadcast power amplifiers, speakers, and related systems. Be able to clearly communicate their unique features and benefits, especially how they meet the specific needs of broadcast projects.

  • Conduct engaging discovery sessions with potential clients, demonstrating how our broadcast equipment can enhance the quality and efficiency of their broadcasting operations, while also providing cost-effective solutions.

  • Manage the entire sales process, from the initial identification of opportunities to the final closing of deals. Follow up on quotes provided to clients, ensuring that sales are completed in a timely manner.

  • Keep accurate records of all client interactions, including phone calls and meeting outcomes. Update our CRM system regularly to ensure that it reflects the most current information, which is essential for effective sales opportunity management and reporting.

  • Present progress updates and insights at sales meetings. Regularly inform the management team about the overall performance of the sales function, as well as the status of individual sales opportunities within the broadcast equipment market.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience can also be considered.

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the audio-visual or broadcast equipment industry.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools like HubSpot is a plus.

  • A proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets in the broadcast or related sectors.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and influence key decision-makers in the broadcast industry.

  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Self-motivated, with the capacity to thrive in both individual and team-based sales environments.
